The Pad See Ew was extremely disappointing. Didn't taste like any other Pad See Ew I've ever had from a Thai restaurant. It was completely flavorless, extra dark color, the chicken was dry, and the broccoli was extra crunchy. Can't speak for any of the other dishes, though.

I had such a wonderful dining experience here today. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine care. The portions were generous and everything arrived perfectly hot at the table. I especially loved the fried rice, which came packed with tender chicken, mushrooms, and colorful vegetables. It is rare to find a spot that hits the mark on every single level like this place does. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, making it a great choice for a relaxed meal. I am already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a top-tier meal.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting one of the employees from Bangkok Thai Restaurant while I was at work. We ended up having a great conversation for about 20 minutes, and he invited me to come try the restaurant sometime. He told me about their longstanding family business here in Lubbock and spoke so passionately about the food that I knew I had to give it a try. When I walked in, I mentioned that it was my first visit, and to my surprise, he recognized me immediately from our conversation. He took the time to recommend both his personal favorites and some of the customer favorites, which made ordering incredibly easy. I'm so glad I came. The food was absolutely delicious, authentic Thai cuisine, served piping hot, and the portions were very generous. Every bite was flavorful and clearly made with care. One thing I'd tell anyone considering trying Bangkok Thai Restaurant: don't judge it by the outside. This is one of those hidden gems that proves great food isn't about fancy appearances. This place is a hidden gem in Lubbock! Don't expect fancy, but very low key family own traditional Thai place. The was amazing! very fresh, tasty and well portioned. We shared the chicken noodle soup and pad Thai and took some home. It's self service, you order from the counter and they will bring it to the table. Very affordable for the quality and quantity of the food. The place is on the small side, it has about 4 booth and 5 or so tables, so it gets busy pretty easily. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic Thai food.

Do not let the look or location keep you from trying out this place. It’s a type of hole-in- the wall place that is just amazing. Staff is great and very nice. The food was amazing! I had the best wonton soup! The egg rolls were also great. The teriyaki chicken was so good and flavorful with the fried rice and steamed veggies to perfection! My boyfriend had the spicy chicken and the whole meal he kept saying “holy sh**” so beware it is true to the name. We will be returning for sure. :)) Great, great lunch and experience. Love it. First time here and we were impressed!
